The Royal British Legion is working with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission to keep alive the memory of those who fell in the First World War, for future generations. Letters sent to 600 homes of WW1 soldiers

Local historians David Drinkwater and Steve Lewis spent nine months creating maps which show the homes of Cheltenham WW1 casulties, with help from John Wright, owner of Q&C Militaria in Cheltenham. The group sent out letters to 600 homes, telling current residents about the soldiers who had lived in their house 100 years ago, and inviting them to an exhibition.
