Commemoration of the Centenary of the Battle of Jutland – 31 May 2016

Royal British Legion and Royal Naval Association Cheltenham are hosting a commemoration of the Centenary of the Battle of Jutland, the largest naval battle of the First World War, in which thousands of British and German sailors perished at sea.

The Parade and Service of Commemoration will taken place on Tuesday 31 May at 12 noon (please assemble by 11.30am) at Cheltenham Minster (St Mary’s Church), GL50 3JX, off Clarence Street, between the Library and the High Street.

Amongst those lost, we will remember by name 12 Cheltonians and 7 sailors from Gloucester.
